Each day

Holly is causing a bit of grief. Kacey is okay at the mo '. My husband is absent. My parents are looking after us. Bank balance is negative negative. But it's okay,  I have a big plan and it's gaining momentum. I need to remain focused and trust I will achieve.

Accomplishments to date

Today 12 February 2015 I am celebrating with a glass of bubbles and fresh fish.  I just enrolled on a Money Smart course. I have a contract from NMDHB for a full time position. I have been offered 2 jobs and 2 shortlisted but I withdrew from 1  (not enough hours), the other I am persevering with in case it offers a better option than NMDHB. I collect keys tomorrow night for our new little Bodmin flat. I arrived in Nelson 18th January 2015. I have a weigh in buddy, cuz Lisa McNabb, for our journey to lose mega weight. My 2 gorgeous ones are settled into school. I have child care support from mum and dad. My only gliches are; my husband is in Auckland and flitting in and out of our lives - I really miss him, as do the kids. We have no cash and income until 18th February,  which is concerning but dad came to the rescue, again, phew!

I visualise Stepping Stones of accomplishments to attain fINde. Each stepping stone takes me closer to fINde.

FINde

After reflection,  insatiable reading for information and changing my financial mindset,  I developed a plan. FINde. Financial Independence. Accomplishing a personal portfolio where asset income supports my lifestyle and I have the choice to use my time as I please.

My intention

Financial Independence - my choice of how I use my time.
For the past 18 months we (Chris and I) rented our 4 bedroom mortgage heavy home, scooped up the kids and travelled NZ in a 4 berth camper. Life changing. I had uninterrupted time with my gorgeous two and more time with my husband. I had time to think, enjoy life and just be.

Celebrating

Celebrating my achievements to date. My fINDe is slowly gaining momentum,  it's so exciting and gratifying.

Rangiora, Canterbury

Enjoying freedom camping beside the Ashley River and BMX track. Clean covered bbq area, toilets and inviting walking and cycling tracks beside the Ashley River. Only 3 minute drive into Rangiora township. Excellent low cost aquatic centre and a library offering free computer use but limited to one-half hour sitting. Spacious areas for homeschooling and creative kids area. Holly loved reading her books in the castle.
